WingdingsTranslation.com is an independent tool site for converting text to and from the Wingdings family of symbol fonts — built to be the fastest and cleanest way to do it anywhere.

Why We Built It

Most Wingdings translators online are heavy, ad-stuffed pages that take seconds to load and bury the tool below the fold. We wanted the opposite: a page that loads instantly, converts as you type, keeps every keystroke private, and still explains the font properly for people who are curious.

How the Mappings Were Built

Our symbol tables come from the genuine font glyph data (the Wingdings, Wingdings 2, Wingdings 3 and Webdings typefaces as shipped by the font owners), cross-checked against the longest-running Wingdings translator on the web. Where a glyph has no exact Unicode code point, we substitute the closest visual match — same as every other converter, just documented.
